About the Position

Nowhere Networks is looking for a responsible and curious technician who wants to combine work in their Network Operations Center (NOC) with practical fieldwork. You will monitor and troubleshoot the network in real-time from the office in Bromma, as well as travel regularly to install and maintain network equipment on vessels and masts across Europe.

This is a role for you who want a varied everyday life where one week you monitor the network and respond to alarms, and the next week you climb masts or troubleshoot technical equipment onboard vessels.

Your Future Responsibilities As a technician, you play a central role in ensuring a stable internet connection for customers through monitoring and field interventions. You will closely collaborate with colleagues, technicians, and customers, and are expected to take responsibility for driving each case to completion.

Examples of tasks:

• Monitor the network in real-time and respond to disruptions
• Troubleshoot simpler network issues and coordinate interventions
• Install and maintain antennas, cabling, and network equipment
• Work practically in the field: climb masts (up to 80 m), pull cables, and solve technical problems
• Communicate with vessel crews, plan missions, and prepare equipment
• Contribute to improving operational and monitoring routines

We are looking for someone who has a strong technical interest and enjoys combining computer-based work with practical technical tasks. You are solution-oriented, take responsibility, and ensure that problems are resolved.

We would like you to have:

• Experience working in NOC, operations, IT support, installation, or similar
• Basic understanding of networks (IP, Layer 2 & 3, routing)
• Driver's license B (manual transmission)
• Good physical condition and no issues working at heights
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred qualifications:

• Network-related education
• Experience troubleshooting in real-time
• Climbing training or experience working at high altitudes
• Background in electricity, networks, telecommunications, or maritime environments

• Location: Bromma, with travel in Sweden and Europe (about 40–50% of the time)
